Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of mysite-name's fitness club services in England. Please read them carefully before joining to ensure a clear understanding of our facilities, member responsibilities, and club operations.

1. Service Agreement

By joining mysite-name fitness club—whether through our website, in-person registration, or telephone booking—you agree to these terms. Our fitness services operate in compliance with relevant UK regulations including health and safety requirements and consumer protection laws.

We provide fitness facilities and services through our equipped gym spaces, group exercise studios, and trained staff across England, supporting various fitness approaches and experience levels.

2. Fitness Services and Facilities

Our fitness services include gym access, group exercise classes, and optional personal training. We maintain modern equipment, clean facilities, and qualified staff to support your fitness activities.

We reserve the right to modify class schedules, close facilities for maintenance, or substitute equipment when necessary for service improvement or safety reasons.

3. Member Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and pleasant club environment, members agree to:

  • Complete health declaration forms accurately before intensive exercise
  • Follow equipment instructions and staff guidance for safe usage
  • Respect other members' space and training focus
  • Use towels and wipe down equipment after use
  • Report equipment issues or facility concerns promptly to staff

Considerate conduct helps maintain a positive atmosphere for all members.

4. Membership and Payment Terms

Memberships are activated upon completion of registration and receipt of initial payment. We require direct debit authorization or advance payment for ongoing memberships, with fees collected monthly in advance.

Prices are quoted in British pounds and include access to facilities according to your membership type. Additional charges may apply for premium classes, personal training, or guest passes.

5. Health and Safety

We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise programme, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions. Our team can provide exercise guidance but does not replace medical advice.

Members participate in exercise activities at their own risk and should exercise within their capabilities, listening to their body's signals during training sessions.

6. Booking and Attendance

Group classes require advance booking through our system. Members can book classes up to 7 days in advance and should cancel at least 2 hours before class time if unable to attend.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future booking privileges for popular class times to ensure fair access for all members.

7. Club Access and Opening Hours

Standard access hours are published on our website and may vary during bank holidays and special events. Some membership types have restricted access times as specified in your membership agreement.

Members must use their own membership card or check-in code for club entry. Sharing access with non-members is not permitted and may result in membership termination.

8. Facility Maintenance and Improvements

We conduct regular equipment maintenance and facility cleaning to ensure high standards. Occasionally, areas may need temporary closure for repairs or improvements, with notice provided where possible.

While we strive to minimise disruption, essential maintenance takes priority to ensure equipment safety and service quality for all members.

9. Membership Freeze and Cancellation

Memberships may be frozen for medical reasons or extended travel with appropriate notice and documentation. Freeze periods typically range from 1-3 months, subject to membership type and terms.

Membership cancellation requires 30 days' written notice after any initial commitment period. Administration fees may apply for early termination during minimum term contracts.

10. Property and Liability

We maintain public liability insurance for our operations. Members are responsible for their personal property while using our facilities and should use lockers provided for valuables.

While we take reasonable care to maintain safe facilities, we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property, or injuries that occur despite proper equipment usage and facility maintenance.

11. Code of Conduct

We expect members to respect our facilities, staff, and other users. Disruptive, dangerous, or abusive behaviour may result in membership suspension or termination without refund.

Appropriate workout attire and footwear should be worn in exercise areas, and members should maintain reasonable personal hygiene considering the shared nature of our facilities.

12. Service Limitations

We provide quality fitness facilities and professional guidance, but individual results from exercise participation vary based on multiple factors including consistency, effort, and individual response to training.

Our team can suggest exercise approaches but cannot guarantee specific fitness outcomes, as these depend on individual commitment and various personal factors.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we encourage direct communication with club management to resolve issues constructively. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled under the laws of England and Wales through appropriate channels.

We are committed to addressing member concerns fairly and promptly. Please contact us first at [email protected] with any service issues before pursuing formal dispute resolution.

14. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
